This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Iron Gate Cycling Route (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by the Danube Competence Center. This is a free mobile app and is for use as is.

The Application is created aiming at provide relevant information to the cyclists that intend to ride along the Iron Gate Cycling Route that is located close to the cities of Kladovo in Serbia and Drobeta Turnu Severin in Romania and enhance their riding experience. It includes GPS data for several cycling routes in the region that are shown on Google Maps – maps visualization service provided by Google Inc. that allows this Application to incorporate content of this kind together with the location of the cyclist that help orienting and follow the route. Besides the location on the map, the Application shows additional data related to the riding conditions which are shown to the app users either while they are riding or while planning the route.

When you use the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the place you are located within and display a location map with the mentioned data related to the main features of the Application.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals such as but not limited to Google Inc. may employ third-party companies and individuals to perform Application-related services. We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf, as described above. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

This type of service allows you to view content hosted on external platforms directly from the pages of this Application and interact with them. This type of service might still collect web traffic data for the pages where the service is installed, even when Users do not use it.
