Traminac is the vine variety originating from the Tyrol Alps, from the village of Tramini in northern Italy. Due to its extraordinary and intense smell and sweetness, it particularly indulges the women taste and is known as "women" wine, although it contains a large amount of alcohol.

The prince Odeschalchi brought Traminac to Ilok region from Tyrol in 1710 and planted it near the Principovac Castle. For centuries, it is the leading wine among European Traminers, and it is one of the types of wines served at the English Royal court, and it was served at the English Queen Elizabeth II's crowning ceremony.

The fertile airy soil that dominates the slopes of Fruska Gora with many sunny hours is a combination that makes the wine here strong and warm, with exquisite fruity-mineral notes.

Day 1: Group arrival to Novi Sad, a tour of the city centre and Petrovaradin fortress. Drive to Fruska Gora National Park, to Mala Remeta. Visit the local winery whose Traminac has a fruity-floral aroma. Wine tasting with lunch, and then going to the Vrdnik spa and accommodation time. Optional bathing in a thermal pool with medicinal water within the spa complex. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Breakfast. Visit Ravanica monastery in Vrdnik and then drive to the vineyard, specific for the wine production based on the principles and philosophy of Rudolf Steiner. The Traminac that comes from this vineyard is known for its tropical aroma, and quince, apple and honey scents. The next stop is a visit to a winery that experiments with applying the principles of biodynamics in agriculture. Their wines are of organic origin and are stored in amphoras. Lunch with wine tasting. Drive to Ilok, accommodation time.

Day 3: Breakfast, and ride by a tourist train along Ilok wine route to Vukovo and Principovac estate. Traminac tasting, famous for its rich aromas of fried sugar, honey, almonds, candied fruits, dry figs and candied oranges. Visit vineyards and local wine cellars whose Traminac is enriched with intense aromas of tropical fruits and flowers especially rose petals. Lunch with wine tasting and departure for Osijek. Accommodation in the hotel, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Breakfast, the tour of Osijek and Osijek Fortress, followed by a ride to Knezevi Vineyards. Visits to vineyards and wineries with centuries-old cellars buried deep underground. Lunch and wine tasting. End of the program.
