Danube Cycling Ambassadors in Serbia are announced during the Danube Cycle Plans project as people that are motivated to engage in the process of improving the position of cycling and active mobility in their countries.

They are Francoise Jacob, UN Resident Coordinator in Serbia, Zoran Bukvić from “Streets for Cyclists”, activist and founder of “Critical mass” in Belgrade, Nemanja ÄŒedomirović, owner of the IT company Diwit, Robert ÄŒoban, owner of the company Color Press Group, Aleksandar Radenković from Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ivan Stević, Four times Olympic Games participant

Francoise Jacob, UN Resident Coordinator in Serbia, is one of the Danube Cycling Ambassadors in Serbia.

In Belgrade, it is almost impossible to find high profile official which would reject official car and driver and go to work by bike, every day, all four seasons. And that makes Francoise different from others. She chooses bike as a means of transport, despite perceived prestige issue which is dominant is Serbia in politics and administration.

Francoise supports all actions of cycling activist organizations and is very interested in help and cooperation.

One of the most active advocates of cycling in Belgrade and Serbia. Through numerous projects and activities, he gives positive examples and invites the citizens to use bicycles in their daily movement, from home to work, college, in everyday life.
 
He is the initiator of Belgrade’s “Critical mass” and a frequent guest in the media where he speaks in support of two-wheeled movement, often also about traffic safety and the need for this topic to be treated more seriously by the Serbian public.

Nemanja Čedomirović, the owner of the IT company Diwit and cycling activist, organizer of numerous cycling events is one of the Danube Cycling Ambassadors in Serbia.

Nemanja is a recognized expert in the field of information technology and with his lifestyle, through daily cycling, he sets an extremely positive example of how it is possible to have a quality life without using a car and how important every trip to nature and an active vacation that includes a bicycle is.

Robert ÄŒoban, the owner of the company Color Press Group and a great cycling enthusiast and activist from Vojvodina is one of the Danube Cycling Ambassadors in Serbia.

He is known as a person who has been coming to work by bicycle.

Aleksandar Radenković is very active and often present in the media. He is very direct in his appeals to citizens that safe and adapted driving is of key importance for general traffic safety, with reference to all two-wheelers and a special emphasis on cyclists.
