Last week we were present at the EuroVelo General Meeting 2021 that took place in Barcelona on October 5th right before the CicloBCN 2021 that “united” the EuroVelo & Cycling Tourism Conference 2021, the XVIII Iberian Congress Bicycle and the City and the 7th International Bicycle Conference.
EuroVelo Annual Report for 2020 was presented followed by the EuroVelo Budget and Work Plan for 2021/22.
Some changes were made related to EuroVelo Council members: Jens Erik Larsen and Phil Insall, two of the founders of the EuroVelo network and long-time members of the EuroVelo Council stepped back and three new members have been elected. Congratulations to Jesper Pørksen, Marie Secrétant and Frank Hofmann.
Also, there is a new member of the NECC/Cs network: the Greek National EuroVelo Coordination Centre. We wish them warm welcome and are looking forward to work with them on the development of EuroVelo 11.
