Danube Floating Conferences

A floating conference is a unique event organised on a Danube cruiser that gathers members of the European Parliament and other senior representatives of the Danube countries in order to network and discuss the further potential of Danube tourism development.

Supported by GIZ, this event has been organised three times (2011, 2013 and 2015), gathering a total of more than 2,000 participants. Apart from providing an opportunity to directly experience the Danube region by cruising through its countries, the conference has hosted important strategic events such as: EUSDR PA3, the 3^rd Conference of Parliamentarians of the Danube Region and a meeting of the EUSDR National Coordinators and Priority Area Coordinators.
