The Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route

The Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route spreads through four countries of the Middle and Lower Danube Region – Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania – encompassing 20 archaeological sites and 12 wine regions. The Route is certified as a European cultural route by the European Institute for Cultural Routes (EICR).

The project “The Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route” is aimed readying the Route for placement into the tourism market by enhancing and stimulating competitiveness, strengthening internal cohesion and improving visibility and market uptake of the Route.
