From March 7-11, 2018 the Danube Competence Center was present at the world’s largest travel trade show – ITB Berlin. This year, our stand was located in Hall 4.1 “Adventure Travel & Responsible Tourism” which was focused on travel which facilitates experiencing nature and discovering personal insights of the host country’s culture, while simultaneously making a contribution towards environmental protection and the well-being of the population. It was a perfect fit for our 2018 Q1 Cycling Fairs package and this fair gathered maximum number of partners so far – Deutsche Donau, Donaubuero, Bratislava Region Tourism, National Tourism Organisation of Serbia, iBike Belgrade and Odysseia-In Bulgaria.
Cycling was in focus both during trade and public days of the ITB, informing the visitors about the offer along the Danube part of EuroVelo 6.
