After the presentation of the Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route in front of the Governing Board of the EPA which took place on 11th April in Luxembourg, the cultural route of the Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route obtained certification for a further three years, officially staying the Cultural Route of the Council of Europe.
The presentation in Luxembourg showcased that in the course of previous three years, the Route has grown in the terms of geographical scope, network capacities, both internal and external communication and as a competitive touristic product. In the upcoming three years the Scientific Committee of the Route will further work on the development of newly established Illyricum Trail, stronger marketing presence, and increased cultural interpretation and “touristification” of the cultural sites and selected wine regions.
