Under the tagline “The future is on two wheels” the first Serbian National Cycling Conference was organized in Novi Sad on September 28 – 29, 2022 gathering around 100 people during both days.
During first day of this event, at the premises of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina the National Cycling Strategy was presented and discussed. The importance of involvement of all the relevant Ministries during process of the development and the implementation of this strategy was particularly highlighted. Afterwards, the draft version of the National Cycling Routes network was elaborated.
Thanks to our partners from Austria, Czech Republic, and Croatia the delegates were able to listen to good practice examples from those countries.
The first day ended with the joint ride along Novi Sad, presenting the cycling infrastructure of the capital of Vojvodina.
During second day of the conference various tourism organizations, NGOs and cycling organizations had a chance to present their work.
