Two studies have been recently developed as a part of the “Central Danube Tour” project in which the Danube Competence Center is involved as a project partner – Event tourism development study and the Study on typical agro-food products
The aim of the Event tourism development study in the area of the Vojvodina Danube basin and the trans-boundary destinations of the Central Danube basin is to research potentials for organizing manifestations in the region outlined in the project. The study anticipates an inventory of the existing manifestations in the Vojvodina Danube basin, an expert evaluation of their significance, i.e. its tourism benefits, proposing potential niches for new, inventive manifestations, as well as several key manifestations for the region of Central Danube.
The aim of the Study on typical agro-food product is valorization of traditional resources of the trans-boundary region through identification and valorization of the so called typical products of the project areas of the South Backa District, the North Backa District, the West Backa District and the Srem District.
